If you searched "is FiniTasks legit?", "is it real?" or "does it pay real money?", you are doing the right thing. Asking before you trust is what keeps people safe. This page answers it in plain words, including the parts that are not exciting.
Do not simply take our word for it. We will tell you what FiniTasks is and what it does, and then show you how you can test it yourself.
What FiniTasks is
FiniTasks is a Nigerian task marketplace with two sides.
Advertisers are businesses, creators, app owners and resellers. They want real people to do small tasks for them. They fund a wallet in naira, write the task, and review the proof.
Workers are ordinary people with a phone. They pick a task, do it, and send a screenshot to show it was done. When the work is approved, they are paid.
The tasks include following or subscribing to a page, liking, commenting, joining a WhatsApp or Telegram group or channel, installing an app and signing up, visiting a website, and custom tasks that the advertiser writes themselves.
So the money does not come from nowhere, and it does not come from you. Advertisers pay for the work, and workers who do it are paid.
How you get paid
- You do tasks and send your proof.
- When the proof is approved, the amount for that task goes into your available balance.
- When your balance reaches the minimum withdrawal, you can ask for a withdrawal. The current minimum is ₦1,000.00, and your wallet page always shows it.
- The money is sent in naira to your Nigerian bank account.
Two things to know:
- The name on the bank account must match the name on your FiniTasks account. This is checked with the bank when you add the account. It protects you, because it stops your money going to a stranger by mistake.
- A withdrawal is not instant. It is processed and sent by transfer, and you are notified when it has been sent, or told why it could not be.
For the full details, read how to withdraw your FiniTasks earnings.
How we deal with fake work
A task platform is only as good as its proof. If fake work were accepted, advertisers would stop ordering and workers would stop being paid. So:
- Every proof is checked before the order counts.
- Copied or recycled screenshots are caught automatically.
- Workers who send fake or recycled proof get warnings, and can be suspended.
This is why honest workers are treated better. It is also why we are strict about screenshots. If your screenshots keep getting rejected, our guide on how to take a proof screenshot that gets approved will help.
What happens when your work is rejected
Being rejected is normal. It does not mean you did something wrong on purpose. The most common reason is that the screenshot did not clearly show the task was done.
- You are shown the reason.
- You can see what you sent and what the task asked for, and open the task again.
- You can appeal within 24 hours, with a new screenshot if you have one. Staff look at appeals, and the decision is not left to one side.
If a decision is changed in your favour, you are paid.
What FiniTasks will never ask you for
- Your bank PIN
- Your card details or CVV
- Your email password
- The OTP sent to your phone
To pay you, only your bank name, account number and account name are needed. If anyone, on any platform, asks you for the rest, do not give it.
The honest limits
We want you to join with the right expectations.
- Earnings are never guaranteed. What you can earn depends on how many tasks are available and how many you complete. Some days there are many, some days few.
- It is small online work. It can help you with data and everyday costs, but it is not a replacement for a job.
- You have to follow the rules. Use your own accounts, send honest proof, and keep your bank account name the same as your name.
- Platforms have their own rules. Social apps have rules about artificial activity, so no result on any app is guaranteed.
How you can test it yourself
You do not need to trust a stranger's words. Do what we suggest for any earning platform:
- Read how FiniTasks works and the terms, before you sign up.
- Do a few tasks, with honest proof.
- When you reach the minimum, withdraw it to your own bank account.
- Only then decide whether to continue.
If you want a method that works for any app, read our guide on how to know if an online money site is a scam.
Who it suits, and who it does not
FiniTasks suits you if you have a phone, some free time, and patience to do small tasks carefully. It suits students, people between jobs, and anyone who wants to add a little to their income without leaving home.
It does not suit you if you want a fixed salary, if you want to be paid today for work you have not yet had approved, or if you are looking for a way to make a large amount quickly. Nothing honest does that, and any platform that says it does should make you ask more questions.
How to get your first task approved
Most first rejections come from the same few mistakes, and all of them are easy to avoid.
- Read the whole task before you start, including what proof is wanted.
- Do the task first, and take the screenshot after it is done, showing that it went through.
- Use your own account and your own phone. A screenshot that is not yours is caught.
- Make sure the screenshot is clear and not cropped.
- Type your details exactly as asked.
If it is still rejected, read the reason. It tells you what to fix, and you can appeal within 24 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Is FiniTasks legit?
FiniTasks is a working task marketplace where advertisers order tasks and workers are paid in naira into their bank accounts for approved work. Do not rely only on our word. Read how it works, do a few tasks with honest proof, and test a small withdrawal yourself.
Does FiniTasks pay real money?
Yes, approved work is paid in naira to your Nigerian bank account once your balance reaches the minimum withdrawal. The account name must match your FiniTasks name, and a withdrawal takes some time, so it is not instant.
Do I have to pay to get tasks?
A genuine platform should never make you pay to receive work, and you should be careful with any site that does. Read the terms page of any platform before you start, and never send money to "unlock" tasks or a withdrawal.
How much can I earn?
We will not give you a number, because nobody can honestly promise one. It depends on the tasks available and the work you complete, and it is never guaranteed.
What if my task is rejected?
You are shown the reason, and you can open the task again and appeal within 24 hours. A clearer screenshot fixes most rejections.
How long does a withdrawal take?
It is processed and sent by transfer, so it is not instant. You are notified when it has been sent, or told why it could not be.
Is it safe to give my bank details?
Only your bank name, account number and account name are needed to pay you. Never share your PIN, card details, password or an OTP with anyone.
