Conduct rules

Two sides, two sets of rules. Workers owe the advertiser a real action and honest proof. Advertisers owe the worker a task that is safe to do and a decision made against their own published rules.

Last updated 1 October 2026. These rules apply to every account on the platform.

01

Workers: do the thing, for real

  • Do the action yourself, from your own account, on your own device and your own number.
  • No bots, scripts, emulators, or automation of any kind, for doing a task or for claiming one.
  • One screenshot belongs to one task. No recycled proof from an earlier task, no edited images, no screenshot taken from another worker.
  • Where a task asks for a comment, write your own words. Copied text and one word comments are rejected, and no two workers can submit the same comment on the same campaign.
  • Do not undo the action. A follow, a comment, a save, a channel you joined, or an app you installed has to stay in place. Do not undo it after you are paid.
  • A stream has to be a real play, long enough for the platform itself to count it. Looping a track overnight is not a stream.
  • One person, one account. Do not open a second account to get past a suspension, and do not sell, rent, or share your account.
02

Advertisers: what we will not run

These are refusals, not preferences. A campaign that asks for any of the following is removed.

  • Anything that asks a worker to share or forward a message to their personal contacts. A worker's contact list is theirs, and it is not a thing you can buy here.
  • Gambling promotion aimed at minors.
  • Loan shark offers, and channels that distribute them.
  • Any request for a BVN, card details, a bank password, or any other credential or personal document. No legitimate task on this platform asks for one.
  • Comments pretending to be a customer of something the worker never bought, comments on political content, and anything defamatory about a competitor.
  • Anything that requires a worker to break the rules of the platform the task runs on, to use a bot, or to act from an account that is not theirs.
03

Advertisers: how to decide

  • Publish your proof rules before the campaign goes live, and state them tightly enough that a worker can tell whether they have met them.
  • Judge each submission against those rules and nothing else. Rejecting work that satisfies the rules you wrote is a breach of these conduct rules.
  • Every rejection carries a written reason, in your own words. The system will not store a rejection without one.
  • Review proof within the time set on your order. Proof you do not review in time may be decided by FiniTasks.
  • Do not ask a worker for anything outside the task: no direct contact, no personal details, no payment.
04

The appeal is the backstop

A worker who thinks a rejection was wrong can appeal it from inside their account, and FiniTasks staff decide it rather than the advertiser who saves money by rejecting. Staff open the proof, read the task rules and the rejection reason, and make the call. Upholding an appeal approves the submission through the same path as any other approval, so a staff decision and an advertiser decision look identical to the ledger.

A pattern of rejections that do not survive appeal is itself a conduct problem, and it is visible to us.

05

What happens when these rules are broken

Workers. A submission that breaks the rules is rejected with the reason written out. Repeating it, or anything involving automation, bought accounts, or duplicate identities, suspends or closes the account. An account suspended for fake or recycled proof loses any balance it has not withdrawn.

Advertisers. A campaign that breaks the refusals above is removed and stops taking claims. Money held against a removed campaign that has not been released for approved work is still the advertiser's money, and it is not kept by us. Work already approved stays approved and the workers who did it stay paid.

06

Reporting something

If a task asks you for a credential, a payment, or your contact list, do not do it. Report it, and it is removed. Nothing on this platform requires you to pay anyone or hand over a bank detail to a stranger.
