Terms of service
The agreement between you and FiniTasks. It is written to be read, not to be survived, and every rule in it describes something the platform actually does.
Last updated 1 October 2026. These are the terms in force today. If they change, this date changes with them.
Who this agreement is between
FiniTasks operates this platform. These terms apply to everyone who uses it: workers who complete tasks, advertisers who pay for them, and anyone reading the public pages. Creating an account means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
You register with your own real name. For workers it has to match the name on the Nigerian bank account you want to be paid into, because the bank returns that name and we check it before money is sent. One person holds one worker account. What happens under your sign in is your responsibility, so keep your password to yourself.
What a worker pays, and what a worker keeps
Signing up is free. Browsing the platform and viewing every available task, with its price, is free. Taking tasks is free too: a worker pays nothing to join or to work.
Having your work reviewed is free, and there is no fee to release your earnings. Nothing is deducted from what you earn: the amount shown on a task is the amount that reaches your balance when it is approved. The only deduction is a small bank transfer fee on each withdrawal, shown before you confirm it.
FiniTasks will never ask a worker for money. If anyone asks you to send money in the name of FiniTasks, or asks you for a training fee, a fee to unblock a withdrawal, or any other payment, it is not us.
FiniTasks earns from the difference between what the advertiser pays for a task and what the worker is paid for it. That difference is set before a campaign goes live. Nothing is added at an advertiser's checkout, and apart from the bank transfer fee on a withdrawal nothing is taken out of a worker's side.
How a task becomes money
- An advertiser funds a campaign in advance. That money is held in escrow against that one campaign. It is not ours and it is not yet the worker's.
- A worker claims a task, does it, and submits proof. Usually a screenshot, plus the username they acted from where the task is a social one.
- An approval releases exactly one task's worth of escrow: the worker payout goes to the worker's available balance, and the remainder is the FiniTasks margin.
- An approval is the only thing that releases escrow. There is no other path, and the database refuses to release more than was funded.
Every movement is written into an append only ledger in kobo, with both sides of it recorded. Balances are computed from those entries rather than stored as a number that could drift away from them.
How submissions are decided
Every submission is reviewed and then approved or rejected. The advertiser reviews submissions on their own orders within the time set on the order. A submission the advertiser does not review may be decided by FiniTasks.
An approval can be reversed if a later check shows the task was not done properly or was undone.
What gets a submission rejected
A rejection must carry a written reason. The system will not store one without it, so nobody can reject work with a shrug.
- The proof shows an account that is not the one you signed up with.
- The proof does not match the task you claimed, even where it is the right kind of task.
- The action was undone after the screenshot, before the period the task states was up.
- A written comment ignores the brief, is a single word, or duplicates a comment another worker already submitted on the same campaign.
- The task states a requirement, such as a minimum account age, that the proof does not meet.
A rejection moves no money in either direction. The worker is not paid and the advertiser is not charged for it.
Only staff can turn down an appeal
If you believe a rejection is wrong, appeal it from inside your account with your reason in writing. The window is 24 hours from the decision.
The advertiser can accept the appeal. Only FiniTasks staff can deny it, because the party who saves money by rejecting should not get the last word on it.
If the appeal is upheld, the submission is approved through the same path as every other approval and the worker is paid. If staff deny it, the rejection stands and no money moves. One appeal per submission, and the decision is final.
How much you can take on
An account has no daily limit on how many tasks it takes. What is available to you at any moment is simply what advertisers have funded and nobody else has claimed yet, so the board changes through the day.
Having an account does not reserve tasks for you, guarantee that any particular number will be available, or hold work while you decide. Tasks are taken first come, first served, and one that fills while you are reading it is gone.
Payouts
Approved earnings build up as an available balance. You withdraw it to a Nigerian bank account in your own name. There is a minimum balance before a withdrawal can be requested, and the current figure is shown on your wallet screen. A small bank transfer fee is taken from each withdrawal, and the amount that will reach your bank is shown before you confirm.
Your bank details are resolved with the bank and the name it returns is checked against the name on your account before a transfer goes out. We do not pay into an account belonging to somebody else, whatever the reason given.
Prohibited behaviour
Workers must not:
- use a bot, a script, an emulator, or any other automation to perform a task or to claim one.
- submit recycled, edited, or borrowed proof. One screenshot belongs to one task.
- do the action and then undo it. Unfollowing, deleting the comment, leaving the channel, or uninstalling the app before the period the task states is a failed task, and an approval already given can be reversed for it.
- hold more than one account, open a second account to get around a suspension, or sell, rent or share an account.
- act from an account or a SIM that belongs to somebody else, or sell or rent out a FiniTasks account.
Advertisers must not post campaigns that break the conduct rules, and must not reject work that meets the proof rules they themselves published.
We keep device and network signals for exactly this reason, and proof images carry a fingerprint so a screenshot submitted twice is found even after the image itself has been deleted.
Suspension and closure
An account can be suspended or banned for the behaviour above, and for anything that puts other people's money or accounts at risk.
Work approved before a suspension stays approved. An approval is a completed ledger movement and we do not reverse settled entries to punish something unrelated to them. Where we are investigating an account, a withdrawal from it can be held until we have finished, and we will say what we are looking at.
Rates, and changes to them
FiniTasks sets the rate card and can change it. A change never moves money that has already been agreed. A campaign records its rates at the moment it is created, and the amount shown on a task when you take it is the amount you are paid for it, even if the rate moves the next day.
We can also change these terms. The last updated date at the top of this page tells you when they last moved, and continuing to use the platform after that date means the current version applies to you.
What we do not promise
We do not promise any level of earnings, any number of open tasks, or that a task you saw yesterday will be there today. What is available depends on what advertisers have funded. Nothing on this site is a job offer, an employment contract, or a guarantee of income.
Third party platforms
Tasks are carried out on services run by other companies: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Spotify, Audiomack, Boomplay, WhatsApp, Telegram and others. Their rules are theirs, and following them is your responsibility. FiniTasks is not responsible for what any of them does to an account you use.
Limits on what we owe you
If something goes wrong and FiniTasks owes you for it, the most we owe an advertiser is the total that advertiser has paid us. The most we owe a worker is the total we paid that worker in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost opportunity, or a knock-on effect of something going wrong, only for the direct amount above.
If your actions cause a claim against us
If FiniTasks is sued or billed because of something you did, breaking these terms or breaking a Third-Party Platform's own rules, you cover us for it: the claim itself and any reasonable legal cost that comes with it.
What belongs to FiniTasks
The name, the logo, the software, and everything else on this site that is not something you submitted or an advertiser's own campaign content belongs to FiniTasks. Using the platform gives you a licence to use it for what it is for. It does not give you a copy of it, or the right to build something else out of it.
If we cannot agree
If a disagreement gets past the appeal process and we cannot settle it by talking, either side can take it to arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, and the arbitrator's decision is final. We would rather solve it before it gets there.
When something outside our control stops us
A bank outage, a regulator's decision, a Third-Party Platform going down: none of that is something we can promise around. We are not responsible for a delay or a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control.
The whole agreement
These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Conduct Rules and the Refunds and Disputes policy are the whole agreement between us. Nothing said outside of them changes what is written here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
