When a task is rejected, it is usually not because you did it wrong. It is because the screenshot did not show that you did it. This guide shows what a good proof looks like for each kind of task.
The one rule
Do the task first, then take the screenshot after it is done, showing that it went through.
Not before. Not halfway. And not a picture of your own profile. The person checking your work needs to see the finished result.
You type your username in the box on the form. That is what the advertiser checks. Your screenshot does not have to show your username.
Following a page or account
Open the page you followed. You should see a button that says "Following". That is your proof.
- Instagram: the page, with "Following" under the follower counts
- Facebook: the page, with "Following" (sometimes next to "Message")
- TikTok: the profile, with either a grey "Following" button, or "Message" and small icons where the red "Follow" button used to be
- X: the profile, with the "Following" button
If you can still see a big red or blue "Follow" button on that page, the task is not done yet. Press it, then take the screenshot.
Small "Follow" buttons on suggested accounts further down the screen belong to other people. They do not matter.
Subscribing to a YouTube channel
Open the channel page. The button should say "Subscribed", with or without the bell. If it says "Subscribe", you have not subscribed yet.
Joining a group or channel
- Telegram group: open the group. You should see its name at the top and a line such as "You joined this group", and the message box at the bottom
- Telegram channel: the channel with the "Mute" bar at the bottom, or "You joined this channel"
- WhatsApp group: the group, showing "You joined using this group's invite link", or the group in your chat list
A "Join" button on the small video chat banner at the top of a Telegram group is not the group join. Look at the bottom of the screen.
Liking a post
Open the post. The like button (a heart, a thumbs up) should look pressed: filled in red or blue. Take the screenshot with the post visible.
Posting a comment
Post the comment first. Then open the comments and take a screenshot that shows your comment on the post, with your username next to it and the time "Now" or a few seconds ago. If you were given exact text, make sure it is the text you posted.
A comment you have typed but not sent does not count.
What always works
- A clear, uncropped screenshot of the finished action
- The name of the page or group visible, when the app shows it
- Dark mode, light mode, any language, any phone: all are fine
What gets rejected
- A picture of your own profile that does not show the task
- A screenshot taken before you pressed the button
- The same screenshot for two tasks. Every task needs its own screenshot, taken for that task. Reusing a screenshot is rejected with no appeal, and repeated reuse leads to your account being suspended
- A cropped screenshot that hides the button or the page
- A screenshot of a different page than the one in the task link
- An edited image. Never change a screenshot
Keep it in place
After your work is approved, do not undo it. The advertiser paid for a real follower or subscriber, and removing it afterwards can lead to the approval being reversed. If you are unsure, read the worker conduct rules.
If you were rejected
You are told the reason when a task is rejected. Read it, fix the problem, and send it again if the task allows. If you honestly think the decision was wrong, you can appeal, and FiniTasks staff will look at it.
